COMPUTERBANK NETWORKING GROUP
UNDERTAKES THE IT & TELECOM NETWORKING
OF THE 24 LARGEST HOSPITALS IN THE COUNTRY

22 May 2000: Computerbank Networking Group undertook to supply and install the IT and telecommunications networking substructure for 24 selected large hospitals in Greece. This project is part of the program "Development of an IT Health System" of the Ministry of Health & Welfare.

After public tender, Messrs ACE (Advanced Concept Enterprises) SA was selected to be prime contractors of the project. Computerbank Networking were appointed subcontractors with the obligation to install the necessary LAN, Campus and WAN networks within 12 months. When completed, the project will interconnect 8000 workstations.

The hospitals that shall be interconnected in this project are the following:

In 1999 Computerbank Networking Group had a total turnover of Drs. 2.1 billion. It expects to double this in year 2000.
