Over
20 years ago, a progressive company named MOD-TAP created an innovative
and previously unheard of approach to premise wiring. It was called
Structured Cabling. It helped create an entire industry by defining
a truly universal communications infrastructure and introducing some
of the first enterprise cabling products such as patch panels and
configurable wall plates.
In 1995 MOD-TAP became a member of the Molex Group, the world's second-largest
manufacturer of electronic, electrical and fiber optic interconnection
products and systems, switches and application tooling. In mid-1999,
its name was changed to Molex Premise Networks, signaling an even
closer cooperation with the parent company.
Today, Molex Premise
Networks builds on its history of innovation to become a worldwide
leader in network cabling solutions.
As part of its continuing commitment to new, customer-driven products,
Molex reinvests
millions of dollars each year in expanded facilities, state-of-the-art
equipment, new tooling and design processes. In fact, over the past
five years that spending has topped $1.1 billion. And after more than
60 years of being in business, that kind of reinvestment has resulted
in thousands of new products that have met the specific needs of customers
around the globe.
Computerbank Networking Group is proud to be in partnership with Molex
Premise Networks as their premier distributor in Greece and to provide
Greek customers with its leading products and technology.
