& Telecom Networking at the Nea Philadelphia Municipality
5 March 2001 - Computerbank Networking SA will soon complete
the IT & Telecom networking project of the Municipality of
Nea Philadelphia. The local area networks in the Town Hall, the
Municipal Development Company and the Administration building
of the Municipal Cemetery have already been installed. In these
installations, totalling c. 60 workstations, Computerbank Networking
SA utilised Molex Premise Networks' structured cabling & optical
fibre technology, and ENTERASYS Systems' active networking equipment.
Installation
of the wireless WAN interconnecting the Town Hall with the Municipal
Development Co. and the Municipal Cultural Centre is under progress,
using ENTERASYS Systems "RoamAbout" technology. Also
under progress is the WAN connection to the Municipal Cemetery,
using Nx Networks' products.
Main contractor
of the Nea Philadelphia IT & Telecom project is Messrs KNOWLEDGE
SA, who subcontracted the networking infrastructure to Computerbank
Networking SA. Computerbank Networking is Value-Added Distributor
of all the networking and cabling products used.
