Certification Ltd of UK , Computerbank Networking SA was accredited
with the ISO 9001 certification for the design and installation
of IT and Telecommunications networks, and also all the relevant

We, at Computerbank Networking, regard this ISO 9001 certification
as an acknowledgement of the quality standards we apply to our
services on the one hand, and on the other, as a springboard for
even better quality and constant improvement of our processes
and services.

Speaking of long distance networking, it was announced that NASA
installed OpenROUTE Networks' Router GT 60 in the space shuttle.
The router will handle the vehicle's LAN, while through an antenna
it will transmit data to an earth station at each revolution of
the shuttle. A high-speed earth antenna will then transmit the
data to an earth processing centre and back to the shuttle via
yet another Router GT 60. In this manner, earth bound scientists
will have access to the shuttle's data through ordinary FTP and
TCP/IP methods. OpenROUTE Networks makes the well-known PROTEON
brand networking products for which Computerbank Networking is
the Value Added Distributor for Greece.
