at MEGATRUST Stockbrokers
To day we wish to inform you of one more leading-edge enterprise
network we have installed.
The stockbrokers company Messrs MEGATRUST Á×Å, recognising the
important role of a computer network of advanced technology to
their business evolution, requested the installation of CABLETRON/ENTERASYS'
leading SmartSwitch 9000 as backbone of its enterprise network,
achieving wire-speed multiple layer switching (Layer 2,3,4), ensuring
Quality of Service and the smooth transition to future broadband
switching, thus safeguarding their networking investment.
So far, the networking needs covered is equal to 144 Fast Ethernet
ports, 12 Gigabit Ethernet gates and 4 Router Modules, but with
the capability of expansion and coverage of twice these needs.

Apart of the above, Cabletron Systems announced on May 18, that
for the fifth consecutive quarter, its SmartSwitch Router is number
one in market share in the rapidly growing modular Layer 3 switching
market. According to the Dell'Oro Group's (http://www.DellOro.com/)
first quarter report, Cabletron's SmartSwitch Router gained 5.2
points from the previous quarter in worldwide modular Layer 3
ports shipped, holding now with 37.2% of the market. The full

Additionally, CABLETRON Systems' subsidiary Enterasys Networks,
for whom we are a Value Added Distributor in Greece, today announced
that its RoamAbout™ wireless LAN solution has been selected by
Network Magazine as Product of the Year. Enterasys Networks' Executive
Vice President of Global Marketing, Garry McGuire, accepted the
award on May 10th, at Networld+Interop in Las Vegas. According
to recent research, the wireless LAN market is growing more than
100% annually, and Enterasys Networks is focused on delivering
high value solutions for both the LAN and WAN wireless markets.
