Director
Manolis Voyatzis was born in Piraeus in 1948 and studied at the
Athens School of Junior Engineers and at the Polytechnic Institute
of New York, USA, where, in 1978, he received his degree as Electronics
Engineer. Between 1978 and 1984 he worked in the R & D of AT & T
's Bell Laboratories at Homdel, NJ, USA. During this period, he
participated in a number of R & D projects, such as Data Communication
Sets, Graphics Work Stations, FCC Test Regulations & Procedures
etc. as well as in the design of integrated binary circuits based
on microprocessors.
He returned to Greece in 1985 and worked at the ABC Systems & Software
Company as Technical Manager. At the same time he designed and produced
in Greece cards for IBM compatible computers, such as Parallel Port,
256kb Memory Card, Monochrome Monitor Card etc. He also attended
various technical courses and seminars, such as Introduction to
HP1000 Computer, etc., and was recognised as Certified Engineer
of Compaq and of Proteon products (routers). Since 1988 he is the
Technical Director and member of the Board of the Computerbank Networking
Group.
Manolis Voyatzis' dedication to meticulous design and top quality
execution of projects has been instrumental in building the Group's
reputation as one of the most quality conscious and credible value
added distributors of networking products and services in Greece.
